North Trail Park Splash Pad & Playground Replacement
Miami, Florida | Completed January 2026
Community recreation improvement project with a total program budget of $3.2 million covering planning, design, permitting, bidding, and construction. Designed by Rodriguez Architects, Inc. and constructed by ACRE Engineering and Construction, Inc.
Served as Construction Manager with Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces (PROS) in a project management oversight role involving coordination during design development, permitting, procurement support, construction administration, schedule monitoring, consultant and contractor coordination, quality review, and closeout.

North Trail Park Community Center Renovation & Expansion
Miami, Florida | Completed 2024
Major community facility renovation and expansion project with an approximate construction value of $3.3 million. Designed by Rodriguez Architects, Inc. (RAI) and constructed by Buslam Group. The scope included a full interior gut renovation, a 2,600-square-foot building expansion, and construction of a new detached service building, along with associated site and utility improvements.
The existing structure was renovated down to its structural concrete and CMU frame, followed by major structural upgrades, new foundations, reinforced columns, raised beam elevations for increased ceiling heights, new roof trusses, and a standing-seam metal roof system. The project also included complete replacement of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire alarm, security, communications, lighting, flooring, ceilings, impact-rated openings, and fully modernized restroom facilities. Exterior improvements included landscaping, fencing, lighting, and site utilities.
Served as Construction Manager with Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces (PROS) in an owner’s representative role during construction. Responsibilities included contract administration, weekly coordination meetings, review of RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, and pay applications, enforcement of the baseline schedule and schedule of values, oversight of inspections, materials testing, quality control, and coordination among contractors, consultants, and County stakeholders through final completion.

Biscayne-Everglades Greenway (FDOT LAP Project)
Miami-Dade County, Florida | Ongoing
Federally funded transportation improvement project with an approximate total program value of $12 million involving the planning, design, permitting, procurement, and construction of approximately three miles of a 12-foot-wide asphalt shared-use path along the C-111 and C-113 canal corridors. The project includes steel pedestrian bridges, roadway crossings, drainage improvements, signage, pavement markings, flashing beacons, and maintenance of traffic operations.
Served as Construction Manager with Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces (PROS) in an owner’s representative role overseeing full lifecycle project delivery. Responsibilities included procurement of professional engineering services, coordination with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) under the Local Agency Program (LAP), right-of-way approvals with Miami-Dade Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW), and land use coordination with the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD).
Additional responsibilities included environmental permitting coordination with DERM and the Environmentally Endangered Lands (EEL) Program, management of required studies and protection measures, procurement of the construction contract, construction administration, schedule enforcement, review of pay applications, oversight of materials testing and CEI services, and continuous compliance with contract, safety, and environmental requirements.

Snapper Creek Trail Segment A (FDOT LAP Project)

Federally funded shared-use path project with an approximate total program value of $3.5 million involving the planning, design, permitting, procurement, and construction administration of approximately 0.3 miles of a 12-foot-wide asphalt trail along the C-2 Canal corridor near SW 107 Avenue and SW 72 Street. The project includes a steel pedestrian bridge, drainage improvements, signage, pavement markings, roadway crossing elements, and maintenance of traffic operations.
Served as Construction Manager with Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces (PROS) in an owner’s representative role overseeing project delivery through design and construction phases. Responsibilities included procurement of professional engineering services, coordination with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) under the Local Agency Program (LAP), right-of-way approvals with Miami-Dade Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW), and land use coordination with the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD).
